Do You Offer Baseboard Heater Covers In Lengths Larger Than 7′ Feet?
Yes, absolutely. To achieve any length beyond our standard 7' (84”), we simply use two or more covers and join them with couplers. Couplers are made of the same material as the covers and are very inconspicuous. The longest cover we ship is 7' long due to shipping restraints. Anything over 7' will be split into 2 pieces and combined with a coupler.
Can I Get A Custom Color For These Heater Covers?
Yes but only for large commercial orders. However, the standard semi-gloss white powder coated surface or the urban steel finish can be painted by you, but we recommend that you consult a professional painter.
Is It Difficult To Remove My Old baseboard heater cover?
Not at all. Simply remove the old end caps and then you can remove the faceplate and damper.
Will I Cause Any Damage To My Wall When I Remove My Old, Rusty Parts And Pieces?
Very little if any. You will need to take proper safety precautions, which includes safety glasses and gloves to protect against sharp objects. Being that the old heaters may be 50 to 60 years old, they may have been painted and/or caulked to the wall. It may be necessary to cut the caulk joint at the wall. There is no set rule for removing the old heaters, but some times you may have to "not play nice with them." For the most part, it is very easy.
Can I install EZ Snap™ Heater Covers on my electric baseboard heaters?
No, absolutely not. EZ Snap™ Heater Covers were designed for hot water baseboard heat and we do not recommend installing on electric heaters as it could create a fire or electrical hazard.
What Should I Do With My Old Pieces And Parts From My Old Heater?
Recycle. Being a green company we recommend that you recycle old steel so they can be made into new goods. We do not take trade-ins. After installation is complete, you can ship the old parts back to us, using the box your new covers arrived in, and we will recycle them for you.

How Long Will It Be Before I Get My Order?
Typically orders are processed and shipped in 2-4 business days and are delivered by FedEx. Most orders are 2-4 business days in transit. If you have a deadline or need a faster delivery time please give us a call, we make things happen.
Once My Order Arrives What Should I Do?
Open and inspect the package and verify that all parts were properly shipped. There will be a parts list in the package and the covers will be marked, you will also need a tape measure. Any damage needs to be reported within 7 days. Please document damage to the box and parts and send an email immediately to Support@EZSnapCovers.com.
How Do I Install The New Heater Covers?
Assuming you have removed your old covers, you simply place the new cover on your heater. After that, you pop on the end caps.
Do I Put The End Caps On First or The Cover?
Cover first, then end caps.
What Do I Do If It Seems Like The Parts Don’t Fit?
Sometimes the end caps may seem a little tight which is a good thing. Pre-fitting the end caps on the panel before hanging the covers on the back plate will be well worth the time. If the panel doesn’t fit or is too long then you have an issue, that may require a little extra work to fix. This may require a jigsaw and a “fine tooth” metal cutting jigsaw blade, but is something that most do it yourselvers can handle.
How Do I Make Custom Cuts To The Covers?
You can cut the length of the cover itself, but will need to use the proper tools as the cover could become bent or damaged if not done properly. Preferably you need to use a good jigsaw with a fine cut metal cutting jigsaw blade. Hopefully, you measured correctly before ordering and determined you needed a custom length and called us. We provide free custom cuts!
Can I Expect The “Child Safe” Features To Prevent Burns?
We must remember they are called Heaters for a reason they heat up. Our covers cannot prevent burns but they can reduce the likelihood of getting burned. The small holes in the cover prevent fingers and tiny hands from getting inside the heater and getting burned that way. It can also help prevent getting cut on the aluminum fins. However, the cover itself can become hot to the touch and possibly cause burns depending on the temperature of the piping.
I Have Seen Rusty Radiators. Will These Ever Rust?
No, they will not, In fact, EZ Snap™ Covers have a lifetime warranty against rust. They are made of galvanized steel which is then coated with a semi-gloss white powder coating and oven baked. This ensures the finish will be durable and rust-free for a lifetime. If they ever rust we will replace them as long as the finish has not been compromised in any manner.
Always measure left to right, and twice for accuracy
Step 1: Floor to top of Wall plate
Measure the height from the floor to the top of the metal wall plate.
Follow our guide for baseboard heater cover measurement:
Any baseboard larger than 7 3/8" (188 mm) will be compatible with our standard cover.
Any measurement greater than 9 3/8" (238 mm) will fit our tall cover.
Step 2: Bottom of Fintube to Top of Wall Plate
Measure from the bottom of the finned tube heating element to the top of the metal wall plate,
A measurement of 5 1/2" to 6 3/4" (140 mm – 172 mm) will fit our standard cover.
A measurement of 7 1/2" to 8 3/4" (191 mm – 222 mm) will fit our tall cover.
Step 3: Back Wall to Front of Fintube
Measure the distance from the wall or the metal wall plate attached to the wall, to the outside of the finned tube heating element.
Any measurement of less than 3 1/8" (76 mm) inches from the wall will fit our
standard cover.
Any measurement of less than 3 1/8" (76 mm) inches from the wall will fit our tall cover.

Wall Widget
EZ Snap™ Wall Widgets are used when your old or existing wall back plate has been removed or if you have to hang your new cover 1 inch or higher to bring them up to a height that will fit our installation guidelines. Just measure your overall desired height, subtract 1", drill a hole, preferably in a stud and attach it to the wall with the included screw.
Floor Fidgets
EZ Snap™ Floor Fidgets easily raise your new covers ¾ inch to compensate for any ¾ inch floor (wood, tile, or other) that has been installed any time since your baseboard heater was originally installed. May be used for any reason when the overall height has been shortened and the total height is less than 7-½ inches for standard height or 9-½ inches for the TALL height EZ Snap™ BaseBoard Covers. Just use the self-tapping screws to secure them to the top of your existing wallplate.
Wall Contraptions
EZ Snap™ Wall Contraptions are used when your wall back plate has been completely removed. EZ Snap™ Wall Contraptions receives your EZ Snap™ BaseBoard Cover and keeps your aluminum fin tube from sagging. These completely replace your wall back plate. To install, slide up from the bottom and make sure the top is at your desired height. Screw to the wall, then bend the front finger up to hold the fin tube in place.

HOW TO MEASURE LENGTH
Based on how your heater is configured,

Measure from wall to wall and subtract ½ inch (to allow for wiggle room when installing your new covers.) The endcaps can be pulled or slid ½ inch outward on either end to fit your existing length requirements. Choose 2 flush to wall end caps.
Measure the overall length of the existing unit with ends attached then subtract ½ inch (to allow for wiggle room when installing your new covers.) The endcaps can be pulled or slid ½ inch outward on either end to fit your existing length requirements. Choose 2 Closed or Open-end caps.
Measure from the corner to the end of the unit with ends attached then subtract ½ inch (to allow for wiggle room when installing your new covers.) The endcaps can be pulled or slid ½ inch outward on either end to fit your existing length requirements. Choose 1 Closed or Open-end & 1 flush to wall end cap.
Measure the left side from corner A to corner B (see diagram). Then subtract 3 inches for the 90 degree inside corner, then subtract another ½ inch (to allow for wiggle room when installing your new covers.) Repeat for the right side if also wall to wall. You need to subtract a total of 3½ inches from each side that is wall to wall. Choose your end caps.
Measure the left side from the corner of the wall to the end of the unit with ends caps. Then subtract 3 inches for the 90 degree inside corner, then subtract another ½ inch (to allow for wiggle room when installing your new covers.) Repeat for the right side. You need to subtract a total of 3½ inches from both left and right sides. Choose your end caps.
L-Shaped outside radiators ending in the middle of the wall: Measure from outside corner of the wall A to the end of the radiator unit with end caps attached B, then subtract ½" (to allow for wiggle room when installing your new covers.)
Left leg - measure from the corner out to the end of the radiator subtract 3" for the corner and ½ (to allow for wiggle room when installing your new covers.)
Center leg - measure from corner to corner and subtract 3" for each corner a total of 6"
Right leg - measure from the corner out to the end of the radiator subtract 3" for the corner and ½" (to allow for wiggle room when installing your new covers.).
We recommend that you order covers a little longer than normal and cut them on site, as there are many opportunities for mistakes in measuring and installation. By cutting on site you can fit and cut to fit. The covers can be cut with a good quality jigsaw and a fine metal cutting blade.
TWO SIDES HAVE SPACES AND WRAP AROUND WALL TO WALL SECTIONS
Measure from the corner of the wall to the outside corner. Subtract 3" for the 90 degree corner (for both left and right legs). Measure from the corner to the end of the unit with end caps on. Subtract 3" for the 90 degree corner then subtract ½" for wiggle room.
